Refund & Cancellations

We offer refund and/or exchange within the first 7 days of your purchase, if 7 days have passed since your purchase, you will not be offered a refund and/or exchange of any kind.

Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges

  • Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be in the original packaging.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Only regular-priced items may be refunded, sale items cannot be refunded.
  • If the item in question was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@thebugbuddy.com and send your item to: B-201/202, Dev Aurum, Anandnagar Cross Road, Satellite, Ahmedabad, Gujarat – 380015, India.

Exempt Goods

The following are exempt from refunds:

  • Gift cards
  • Some health and personal care items

Partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

  • If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Shipping

  • Please do not send the product back to the manufacturer. It must be sent to the following Address: B-201/202, Dev Aurum, Anandnagar Cross Road, Satellite, Ahmedabad, Gujarat – 380015, India.
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable! If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
  • Please see, we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Cancellation:

  1. Your order can only be cancelled if it has yet to be shipped. To cancel, please write to our customer support team at info@thebugbuddy.com
  2. In such cases, the order will be cancelled, and the refund will be processed by us within 7 business days after the cancellation request is acknowledged.
  3. Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped.

Returns:

You can return your product within 7 days of delivery if the product is damaged, leaking, tampered with, or broken, or if the package is compromised.

  1. Wrong product delivered.
  2. Product post-expiration date.
  3. Incomplete order / Missing products.

Returns will not be accepted if:

  1. Products are opened, used, or altered.
  2. Original packaging (cartons, labels, etc.) is missing.
  3. The return/replacement request is generated more than 10 days after the date of delivery.
  4. The damaged/missing product is reported after 10 days from the date of delivery.
  5. The product is being returned for a reason other than a manufacturing defect.

Process:

If you would like to return a product, let us know by emailing us at info@thebugbuddy.com within 7 days of receiving the product. Your email should contain:

  • Order ID
  • Name
  • Items you want to return
  • Reason for return
  • Please ensure to include images as proof in your email

We will investigate and review your return request within 24 working hours.

If, based on our examination, the product is beyond use or in damaged condition, we will request you discard the product. In this case, we will provide a replacement accordingly.

After your product(s) are received, we will verify it against the claim and initiate the replacement or refund accordingly.

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • The product returned is noticeably damaged or tampered with.
  • The shipping address you provided while placing the order is incorrect.
  • You have consumed part of the product and then decided to return it.
  • You do not comply with the return policy stated above.

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  1. The product ordered by you is out of stock with us.
  2. The shipping address is not serviceable by us.
  3. You comply with the return policy stated above.
  4. The product returned by you is in good condition and hasn’t been tampered with.
  5. You were charged twice for a single order from the same email address.

Return Pick-up (available for most pin codes):

  1. Once we receive a return email request, we will initiate a reverse pickup. A service representative will visit you for the pick-up within 1 to 2 days.
  2. If our reverse pick up service is not available at your location, you will need to self-ship the product via any reliable courier partner. We will reimburse the courier charges.

Refund Amount Timelines:

  1. If you made an online payment, we will refund the amount back to the original source (debit/credit card, bank, wallet, etc.) within 7 working days of receiving the refund request from you.

For COD orders, we will refund the amount to your bank account within 14 working days of receiving a refund request.
